Hallo :)

Ich soll den pH-Wert einer Lösung berechnen, welche durch das Mischen von 300 mL HCl und von 500 mL NaOH entstanden ist.

Gegeben sind noch diese Werte: c(HCl) = 0,3 mol/L und c(NaOH) = 0,5 mol/L

Gegeben sind noch diese Werte: c(HCl) = 0,3 mol/L und c(NaOH) = 0,5 mol/L

n (HCl)  =  c (HCl) * V (HCl)  =  0,3 mol L-1 * 0,3 L =  0,09 mol

n (NaOH)  =  0,5 mol L-1 * 0,5 L =  0,25 mol

Aus 0,09 mol Protonen und 0,25 mol Hydroxidionen entstehen 0,09 mol H2O. Gleichzeitig verbleibt aber auch ein Rest von 0,16 mol unverbrauchter Hydroxidionen.

Daraus folgt für den pH - Wert:

pOH =  - log (c (OH-))  =  - log (0,16)  =  0,796

pH =  14 - pOH =  13,2
